About Salishan Golf Links

Salishan opened in 1965 at Gleneden Beach as the first resort course on the Oregon coast, designed by Fred Federspiel. By the 2000s it was short and suffered drainage problems. After Spring Capital Group bought the resort in 2003, Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy rebuilt all 18 greens and added about 400 yards, and the course reopened around 2004. The redone par-3 15th now plays downhill toward the Pacific.
