About Meriwether National Golf Club

Meriwether National Golf Club in Hillsboro opened in spring 1961 with nine holes, and the second nine followed in 1962. It is a public facility designed by Fred Federspiel, and was originally among the longest courses in the Pacific Northwest. In 1994 the club added a third nine and an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse, making it a 27-hole facility. It survived major flooding in 1996 and was sold in September 2025.
