Bandon Preserve Golf Course

Bandon Preserve opened in 2012 as a 13-hole par-3 course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the southern Oregon coast, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Set on a stretch of dunes above the Pacific, the routing begins high on a sand ridge and tumbles down toward the beach, with the ocean framing nearly every shot. Though the holes are short, they are anything but throwaway: tightly contoured greens, natural dune bunkering, and constant wind make it a genuine test as well as pure fun, and it has become one of the most beloved short courses in the country. What sets Bandon Preserve apart is its purpose. All net proceeds go to the Wild Rivers Coast Alliance, the resort's conservation arm supporting the environment, community, and economy of the southern Oregon coast, so every round played there directly funds the region's stewardship.
