About Summerfield Golf Club

Summerfield's nine-hole course was designed by Ted Robinson in 1973 and is the centerpiece of the Summerfield 55+ community in Tigard, built on former farmland by Ron Sorensen's Tualatin Development Company; its clubhouse opened June 13, 1974, and the developers gave the course to members in 1976. It is semi-private and open to the public when the men's and women's golf clubs are not using it.
