About Wildwood Golf Course

Wildwood, a public course off Highway 30 northwest of Portland, began as a 9-hole layout in 1928 and operated until 1971, then sat closed. It came close to becoming a local garbage dump before William O'Meara bought it, modified the existing nine and reopened it in 1990. The back nine was added in 1995, making it the 18-hole public course it is today.
