Colorado Golf Club

Colorado Golf Club spreads across roughly 1,700 acres of rolling Rocky Mountain foothills in Parker, southeast of Denver, where ponderosa forest, open meadow, and rugged native terrain meet. Founded in 2006 and opened for play in 2007, the private course is the work of Bill Coore and two-time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw, whose minimalist philosophy favors wide, ground-game-friendly holes shaped to fit the land they found. It counts among the relatively small number of original designs the celebrated partnership completed over their decades together. Despite its youth, the club quickly earned major hosting duties: it staged the 2010 Senior PGA Championship, one of senior golf's marquee majors, and in 2013 welcomed the Solheim Cup, the premier team competition in women's professional golf. Those events, plus strong national rankings, established Colorado Golf Club as one of the mountain West's finest modern courses.
