About Cherry Hills Country Club

Cherry Hills has hosted three U.S. Opens (1938, 1960, 1978), two PGA Championships (1941, 1985), a U.S. Women's Open, and multiple U.S. Amateurs. Its defining moment came in 1960, when Arnold Palmer drove the par-4 first and shot a final-round 65 to win from seven back, ahead of amateur Jack Nicklaus and an aging Ben Hogan.
