Meadow Hills opened in 1957, designed by Henry B. Hughes. It began as a country club and is now a public municipal course owned by the City of Aurora. It was an early tour stop and hosted the Denver Open in 1961. The par-70/71 layout of about 6,500 yards is known for tight tree-lined fairways, small greens and six lakes that come into play.
