Opened in 2018 in Berthoud, north of Denver, TPC Colorado was the region's first ground-up golf development in nearly a decade. Architect Arthur Schaupeter routed the par-72 course around Heron Lakes, weaving fairways past water and native grasses while offering multiple tees so the layout plays anywhere from roughly 4,100 yards to nearly 8,000. At a mile-high elevation, that maximum length makes it one of the longest tests in American golf; the thin air sends the ball noticeably farther, and the 773-yard 13th ranks among the longest holes the Korn Ferry Tour has ever played. The course quickly drew national attention, with Golf Digest naming it the #3 Best New Private Course in 2019. Since 2019 it has hosted the Korn Ferry Tour's TPC Colorado Championship.
