San Carlos Golf Club in Fort Myers was developed in 1971 by the San Carlos Park community (some sources list the course opening as 1973). In 1981 it was purchased by local golfers and became a member-owned semi-private club, one of the older established clubs in Southwest Florida. It is a par-71 layout.
