Sarasota National

Sarasota National Golf Club in Venice opened in 2008 to a Gordon Lewis design. The 18-hole, par-72 course stretches to about 7,344 yards and winds through wetlands, hammocks and sanctuaries; the community plan set aside roughly 1,300 acres of natural land, and the course carries an Audubon International Certified Signature Sanctuary designation. It was laid out as the centerpiece of a gated residential community.
