About Sebastian Municipal Golf Club
Sebastian Municipal opened in 1981 as an 18-hole, par-72 Charles Ankrom design on the City of Sebastian's airport property. In the early 1980s a group of local businessmen funded the course after earlier referendums failed, with the city providing the land but not the financing. It runs as a self-sustaining city enterprise fund that pays the airport annual rent, and a roughly $1 million rebuild of greens and tees reopened in October 2001.
