About Smock Golf Course

Smock Golf Course is an Indianapolis municipal course on South County Line Road on the city's far south side, spanning roughly 160 acres of former farmland once owned by the Smock family. Designed by Robert Simmons, it opened in 1976 as an 18-hole layout and is operated by Indy Parks and Recreation. It is the newest of this group of Indy Parks courses, built well after the early-1900s Riverside Park courses.
