The course in Menomonie opened in 1976 as nine holes and was later expanded to 18. It has operated under several names, including Rainbow Ridge, before becoming Tanglewood Greens, and it closed around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under new ownership the tees, greens and irrigation were rebuilt and more than 400 trees removed, and it reopened in July 2024 as an 18-hole, par-71 course.
