About Spooner Golf Club

Spooner Golf Club's original nine holes were designed in 1930 by Thomas Vardon, brother of six-time Open champion Harry Vardon. Its sand greens were replaced with grass in 1951, and architect Gordon Emerson later added a second nine to make 18 holes. Spooner has been a certified PGA Family Course since 2007.
