About Riverside Golf Course

Riverside Golf Course opened in 1924 as a six-hole course near the Rock River in Janesville and grew to nine holes in 1926. In 1946 architect Robert Bruce Harris expanded it to 18 holes and reworked the original routing. The City of Janesville owns the course, and it hosts the WPLA Ray Fischer Amateur Championship each June.
