Old Channel Trail is a 27-hole public facility in Montague built in stages. The original nine, the Woods, dates to 1926 and is credited to Robert B. Harris. The Meadows nine followed in 1967, designed by W. Bruce Matthews to take in views of Lake Michigan, and Jerry Matthews added the Valley nine in 1995.
