About Iroquois Golf Course

Iroquois Golf Course sits within Frederick Law Olmsted's Iroquois Park (created 1888, designed 1891), the same landscape architect behind Louisville's Cherokee and Shawnee parks. The 18-hole municipal course was built in the late 1940s to a design by Robert Bruce Harris (with Larry Packard); sources place its opening around 1946-1949. It remains a par-71 public course operated by Louisville Parks and Recreation.
