The Legends of Indiana was designed by Jim Fazio and opened in 1992, with 27 holes plus a par-3 course called The Niblick. By 2000 it had hosted three USGA qualifiers and the Indiana men's and women's state amateurs, and that year the IHSAA chose it to host the boys' and girls' state golf finals. It sits next to the Indiana Golf Association headquarters.
