Founded in 1984 by architect George Fazio, his wife Barbara and his nephew architect Jim Fazio, the club was originally named The Reserve Golf and Country Club. Its 18-hole championship course was the last George Fazio designed and the first he designed alongside his nephew, and it was renamed The Legacy after George's death. The private club sits within the PGA Village area of Port St. Lucie and includes a par-3 executive course by Jim Fazio.
