PGA National Resort Fazio course

The Fazio Course is a modern reinvention of The Haig, PGA National Resort's original eighteen, which opened in 1980 and honored five-time PGA Championship winner Walter Hagen. The Haig was designed by the celebrated uncle-and-nephew team of George and Tom Fazio. Decades later the course was comprehensively rebuilt by Tom Fazio II, a third-generation member of the design family, who kept the par-72 routing while dramatically expanding the green surfaces, by roughly seventy percent to about 2.5 acres, and regrassing greens with TifEagle and fairways with Celebration Bermuda. New tee options stretching from around 3,300 to nearly 7,000 yards support the game's Tee it Forward philosophy, making the layout enjoyable across handicaps. Set in Palm Beach Gardens, the Fazio blends classic architecture with contemporary conditioning and stands alongside the Champion and Palmer courses at one of Florida's premier resort complexes.
