About The Wanderers Club

The golf course now known as The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Florida was built in 1985 to an original design by architect Ted McAnlis, and was formerly operated as Wellington Golf & Country Club. In 2007 the property was rebranded as The Wanderers Club -- a name honoring the first U.S. Open polo champion -- and in 2008 the course was redesigned by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, who incorporated a polo field alongside the opening hole and driving range. It sits in the heart of Wellington's equestrian community in Palm Beach County.
