Viroqua Hills opened in 1930 as a public nine-hole course, and a second nine was added in 1996, bringing it to 18 holes and 6,376 yards from the back tees. The original nine runs through wooded hills, while the newer nine is reached through a tunnel and includes two ponds and a waterfall.
