Water Oak's golf course was designed and built by Mel Bishop and Lou Grimes in 1982 and is the centerpiece of a 300-acre 55+ community in Lady Lake. The par-70, roughly 6,200-yard layout winds among mature oaks and underwent a 13-month reconstruction completed in 2023 by Sanford Ferris Golf Designs. It accepts public play.
