Waterlefe Golf & River Club, designed by Florida architect Ted McAnlis, opened in 2000 as the centerpiece of the Waterlefe residential community in Bradenton. The par-72 course runs about 6,900 yards along a scenic stretch of the Manatee River with marshes and coves, and has served as a U.S. Open local qualifying site multiple times since 2002.
