Winding River Golf Club

Winding River is an Indy Parks municipal course in Southwestway Park on Indianapolis's far southwest side, overlooking the White River at 8015 Mann Road. It began in the 1960s as a nine-hole municipal course on roughly 100 acres of the park (sources differ on the exact opening year) and was later expanded into an 18-hole, par-72 layout with a driving range covering about 176 acres. Wide fairways, rolling terrain and protected Audubon nature areas give it a country feel inside the city; it is operated by Capital City Golf Management.
