About Woodside Golf Course

Woodside, on Wood Road in DeWitt Township just north of Lansing, was a family labor of love: the Kazenko family spent more than 18 years building it, doing nearly all the design, shaping and seeding themselves. With help from the Kesler family of Hawk Hollow, it opened as a public nine-hole course on September 2, 2011, and three more holes by Chris Lutzke followed, making it one of the country's rare 12-hole courses. It now partners with First Tee - Mid Michigan.
