Bali Hai Golf Club

Bali Hai opened in 2000 as the work of architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, and it remains the only championship golf course sitting on the Las Vegas Strip itself, just south of Mandalay Bay. The design leans hard into a South Pacific fantasy: more than 4,000 trees, including thousands of palms, frame fairways studded with black volcanic outcroppings, bright white bunkers, and roughly seven acres of lagoons and water. The par-71 layout stretches beyond 7,000 yards from the back tees, yet the tropical dressing and dramatic contrasts against the surrounding desert make it as much a spectacle as a stern test. It quickly became one of Nevada's most-played resort courses, prized by visitors who want a memorable, bucket-list round within steps of the neon.
