Shadow Hills Golf Club winds through Del Webb's guard-gated Sun City Shadow Hills, a 55-and-over community in Indio. The 18-hole South Course, designed by Schmidt-Curley, opened in 2004. A nine-hole par-3 North Course followed in February 2010, and both are open to public play.
