About Bonaventure Golf Club

Bonaventure's East (championship) course in Weston -- nicknamed the Green Monster for the waterfall on its par-3 3rd -- opened around 1970, credited to Joe Lee with Charles Mahannah. Renovated in 2012, it is a public/resort course of about 7,000 yards and a past host of the Dixie Amateur. The separate West course (Mark Mahannah, 1975) closed permanently in 2013.
