Twin Rivers Golf Club opened in 1989 to a design by Oviedo native Joe Lee, who made it his signature Central Florida course. The 18-hole layout sits between the Big and Little Econ rivers and is known for Lee's large, artistically shaped bunkers. In 2017 the City of Oviedo acquired the property to preserve the land and prevent residential development, and the course remains open to the public.
