Boone Valley Golf Club

Boone Valley grew out of a late-1980s vision by former PGA Tour player Bob Ross, who assembled a group of St. Louis business leaders to build a national-caliber private club in the countryside near Augusta. Land was acquired in 1989, construction began in 1990, and the P.B. Dye-designed layout opened for play in 1992. Set across rolling wooded terrain, the par-71 course quickly earned a strong regional reputation. It became a fixture on the senior circuit, hosting the Boone Valley Classic on the Senior PGA Tour (now PGA Tour Champions) from 1996 through 2000, followed by a match-play championship in 2001. The club has also welcomed national amateur golf, including a USGA Junior Amateur and a USGA Girls' Junior, cementing its standing as one of Missouri's premier private venues.
