Monterey Yacht & Country Club is a gated 55+ community in Stuart built around a 9-hole executive course (par 28, about 1,024 yards) that opened in 1970 to a design credited to P.B. Dye. The narrow layout features six ponds, and play is by invitation only for the community of roughly 510 condominiums.
