About Chambers Bay Golf Course

This municipal links-style course, built on a former sand-and-gravel quarry, opened in 2007. It hosted the 2010 U.S. Amateur (then the longest course in USGA history) and the 2015 U.S. Open, won by Jordan Spieth amid heavy criticism of its bumpy greens.
