Disney's Magnolia Golf Course

Disney's Magnolia Golf Course opened on October 1, 1971, the same day Magic Kingdom welcomed its first guests, and was crafted by prolific Florida architect Joe Lee. Named for the roughly 1,500 magnolia trees lining its corridors, it is the longest of Walt Disney World's courses, reaching beyond 7,500 yards from the back tees across elevated tees, rolling terrain and nearly 100 bunkers. Its signature moment arrives at the par-3 sixth, guarded by a greenside bunker shaped like Mickey Mouse's silhouette. For more than four decades Magnolia co-hosted Walt Disney World's annual PGA Tour event, drawing champions from Jack Nicklaus, who won three straight in the early 1970s, to a young Tiger Woods. A sweeping 2025 renovation reimagined the closing stretch, nicknamed Grumpy's Gauntlet, and added an 18-hole putting course.
