About Erskine Park Golf Club

Erskine Park opened on June 27, 1925, as South Bend's first 18-hole public golf course. It is named for Albert R. Erskine, president of the Studebaker Corporation, whose family gave the land on the condition that it stay a golf course; the family's horse barn became the clubhouse. The South Bend parks department (Venues Parks & Arts) still runs the course, which marked its centennial in 2025.
