Harmony Golf Club & Community

Why we love this place

Fourteen holes, Lake Champlain views and a century of golf tradition in a tiny Adirondack hamlet. We love Harmony for being gloriously unconventional, a community club where the scorecard is quirky, the welcome is warm and the view over the lake is part of the round.

About Harmony Golf Club & Community

Harmony Golf Club & Community sits on North Street in the hamlet of Port Kent, in the Town of Chesterfield on the western shore of Lake Champlain, with a clubhouse that looks out over the lake toward Vermont. The club describes itself as carrying a golfing tradition that spans more than 100 years in this corner of the Adirondack Coast. Its course is unusual, offering 14 holes rather than the standard nine or eighteen. As its name suggests, the club presents itself as a community gathering place as much as a golf course, with instruction, leagues, a driving range and a bar and grill. In 2026 the course and restaurant closed for the season in mid-September, with the range staying open and the restaurant set to reopen in spring 2027.
