About Heritage Hills G. C.
Heritage Hills Golf Course opened on July 2, 1977, on a Donald Sechrest design. Conceived in the early 1970s as an offshoot of Claremore Junior College (now Rogers State University), it was reportedly the first golf course built with Farmers Home Administration funding. In 1996 it separated from the university and came under the Rogers County Public Facilities Authority, which owns and operates it today as a public 18-hole course (par 71, about 6,756 yards).
