Highland Woods Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs opened in the mid-1990s to a Gordon Lewis design. The par-72 layout stretches to about 6,875 yards with roughly 20 acres of palmetto preserve and 29 acres of lakes, water in play on 14 holes. It is a bundled-membership private golf community; a major regrassing was completed in late 2015.
