Martin Downs in Palm City opened around 1979-1981 with a layout by Treasure Coast architect Charles Ankrom. Historically a private country club with two courses (Osprey Creek and Crane Creek), it has operated for years as the daily-fee Martin Downs Golf Club and has hosted Tour qualifiers; under new ownership since 2021 it has undergone a multi-phase renovation.
