P.B. Dye Golf Club in Ijamsville opened in 1999 as P.B. Dye's only signature course; the son of Pete Dye spent more than 120 days on site running the bulldozers himself. It carries the family vocabulary of railroad ties, tiered greens, pot bunkers and blind shots over rolling Frederick County terrain, and Golf Digest listed it 26th on its 2007 list of America's 50 toughest courses.
