Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Club in Bradenton opened in 1970 to a design credited to Dean Refram. The course is known for narrow fairways, ample water and small, well-bunkered greens; its greens were upgraded to Champion ultradwarf Bermuda in 2003, and the club changed ownership in 2023. Public tee times are offered at what is described as a golf-community course.
