Saddlebrook Resort

Saddlebrook Resort spreads across roughly 480 acres just north of Tampa in Wesley Chapel and is home to two 18-hole courses. The original Saddlebrook Course, a Dean Refram design, opened in 1976; it began as a 27-hole facility before nine of those holes were repurposed to help build the second course. Playing as a par 70 of about 6,664 yards, it offers a gentler, traditional old-Florida character, threading among cypress and oak draped in Spanish moss. In 1982 the Palmer Course opened, designed by Arnold Palmer at roughly 6,273 yards, par 71, and known for more sculpted, demanding green complexes. Long a fixture of Tampa-area resort golf, Saddlebrook has also been recognized for its tennis and training academies, making the property a well-rounded destination beyond its two contrasting layouts.
