About Plantation On Crystal River

The Championship Course at Plantation on Crystal River was designed by Mark Mahannah, with construction beginning in 1955 and the course opening two years later as Paradise Country Club. Golfers including Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Tony Lema and Lee Trevino are reported to have visited. The nine-hole Lagoons Course was added in 1982, bringing the resort to 27 holes.
