Reunion Resort And Club - The Watson Course

The Watson Course opened in 2004 as one of three signature layouts at Reunion Resort, southwest of Orlando near Kissimmee. Designed by five-time Open champion Tom Watson and originally christened "Independence," it reflects the traits of its architect: firm, fast turf, generously rolling fairways, sprawling bunkers and large, receptive greens. The parkland design plays across elevation changes of up to roughly fifty feet, unusual for central Florida, and is framed by native grasses, azaleas, camellias and other flowering plantings. Reunion is distinctive as a resort carrying courses from Watson, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer on a single property. The resort also hosted the LPGA Tour's Ginn Open from 2006 through 2008.
