The Links Golf Club, designed by Tom Jackson, opened in 1973 as the first golf course at what became Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. It runs alongside Choctawhatchee Bay, with water in play on 14 holes, five of them bay holes. It is a resort course open to the public.
