Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club

Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club opened in 1987 as the centerpiece of the Semiahmoo Resort, set on the peninsula reaching into Semiahmoo Bay near Blaine on Washington's far northwest coast. The par-72 layout was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, who threaded the holes through dense stands of second-growth timber to create a secluded, tree-lined test. Wetlands, contoured greens and generous bunkering define a routing that stretches to roughly 7,000 yards. For years it operated alongside its sister course, Loomis Trail, under the resort's ownership. Regional publications have consistently ranked it among Washington's better resort courses, with Golfweek listing it among the state's top courses in 2011. Its coastal setting and mature forest give the round a quiet Pacific Northwest character all its own.
