About Starfire Golf Club

Starfire Golf Club at 11500 N Hayden Rd began as Sundown Golf Course in December 1953, described as Scottsdale's first golf facility. After Scottsdale annexed the area it was known as Scottsdale Country Club Golf Course. Arnold Palmer's team (with Ed Seay and Robert Walker) reworked it in 1988, adding the King nine, and it was rebranded Starfire Golf Club in 2018. It is a daily-fee public 27-hole facility with a 9-hole Mulligan short course.
