Sevierville Golf Club grew out of Eagle's Landing Golf Club, an 18-hole course that opened in June 1994. D. J. DeVictor redesigned and expanded the property into two courses, the River and the Highlands, which officially opened in August 2011; thirteen of the original holes were kept and split between them. The Highlands is a par 70 through rolling hills and ponds.
