About Starr Pass Golf Course

The course opened in 1986 as TPC at Starr Pass and hosted the PGA Tour's Tucson Open from 1987 to 1996, including Phil Mickelson's 1991 win as an amateur. It was renamed Starr Pass Golf Club in 1993, and in 2003 Arnold Palmer added a third nine, making it a 27-hole layout (Gambler, Pioneer, Palmer). It became The Club at Starr Pass in 2023 and is part of the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa.
